Emirates’ Colombo interviews on May 19-20 to recruit skilled aircraft technicians

Emirates, the world’s largest international and most profitable airline, is scouting for top-tier aircraft engineering and technical talent worldwide. The airline’s next official stop is Sri Lanka, where it is hosting roadshows in Colombo on May 19-20, the airline said on Tuesday.

Interested candidates who wish to attend the event are required to register in advance at: www.emiratesgroupcareers.com/engineering/. Experienced technicians may attend the Colombo session, where Emirates’ recruiters will outline details of the role, remuneration, benefits and life in Dubai. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with the airline’s engineers to gain practical insights into working life, career progression and professional development within Emirates.

At Emirates, aircraft technicians carry out maintenance on the airline’s and third-party aircraft under the guidance of licensed aircraft engineers. An approved apprenticeship in commercial aircraft maintenance or any equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience are required for the role.
