Avurudu shopping will be extra easy on the pockets of Commercial Bank Credit and Debit Card holders this year with the bank offering discounts of up to 50% and Easy Payment Plans for its Credit Card holders at more than 2,000 merchant outlets around the island.
Discount offers on Credit and Debit Card purchases commenced on 15th March and will be applicable on specified days or periods until the end of April 2021, the bank said in a media release. Meanwhile, special Easy Payment Plans are available in settlement periods ranging from three to 60 months and will be valid for Credit Card purchases at 2,000 of the bank’s registered merchant partner outlets including white goods brand partners, in the same period. These Easy Payment Plan options may vary from merchant to merchant, the details of which can be viewed on the bank’s website at www.combank.lk.
With these offers in place, cardholders can plan holidays, get a home makeover, shop for clothes for the whole family, buy gifts for friends, stock up on their groceries, try out a new look, and even enrol in educational institutions, the bank said.
While the discounts will be applicable at a cross section of retailers of clothing & fashion, leather & footwear, accessories, jewellery, watches, lifestyle products, opticians, healthcare facilities, salons & spas as well as on online shopping sites and supermarkets, the Easy Payments Plans will be available at a series of retailers of automobiles, electronics, mobile devices and computers, home and office equipment, fashion items including clothing, jewellery, watches and accessories, furniture, home appliances and insurance, as well at health and fitness outlets including a choice of opticians, hospitals and fitness equipment stores, travel and leisure companies offering local and outbound holidays, educational institutes, and once again, a wide range of online shopping platforms.
