CH17 Introduces Special Avurudu Cashback Offers for Cardholders

CH17 has announced a special Sinhala and Hindu New Year promotion, offering its cardholders cashback deals of up to 30% at a number of partner merchants across the country, bringing additional value and festive cheer to its growing membership base.

Reinforcing its position as the only non-banking privilege card scheme with one of the largest single membership bases in Sri Lanka, CH17 continues to provide year-round rewards, benefits, and privileges designed specifically for its loyal members.

While CH17 cardholders already enjoy continuous in-store discounts at partner merchants throughout the year, the company has introduced an additional Avurudu cashback facility to make the festive shopping season even more rewarding.

“We wanted to do something special for our loyal cardholders during this important festive period,” said CEO Jumar Preena. “Our members already enjoy uninterrupted discounts at partner outlets throughout the year. This seasonal cashback offer simply adds another reason for them to celebrate the New Year with greater savings.”

Unlike many seasonal card promotions that are limited to a short time window, CH17’s Avurudu offer will remain valid well beyond the festive period, allowing members to plan their shopping without the pressure of peak-season crowds.

“At the time families are exchanging gifts and preparing for the New Year, customers often prefer to shop at their own convenience,” Preena explained. “By extending this promotion beyond the traditional Avurudu days, we are giving our members the freedom to shop comfortably, explore new stock arrivals, and select gifts with ease.”

CH17 has also introduced a simple process for customers to claim their cashback benefits. Cardholders only need to submit their purchase bill together with their CH17 card number through one of the following convenient channels:

• Upload the bill via the CH17 mobile application (for registered users)
• Send the bill through WhatsApp
• Email the purchase bill to the designated CH17 customer service channel

When submitting the bill, customers are required to include the 16-digit CH17 card number appearing on their card. Once verified, the eligible cashback value will be credited directly to the customer’s bank account.

Importantly, while partner merchants continue to provide their regular in-store discounts as usual, CH17 has also created a special opportunity for members who may not have easy access to partner merchant outlets. Under the Avurudu promotion, customers shopping at non-partner merchants may also qualify for a reduced cashback benefit.
