Citi Sri Lanka recently marked its 19th annual Global Community Day with more than 50 Citi volunteers joining forces to provide a meaningful day for 60 children living at the Sri Jinananda Children's Home in Wellawatte.
This initiative is in line with Citi's commitment to supporting youth, it said in a media release.
The children enjoyed a range of entertaining activities, accompanied by Citi volunteers who imparted valuable life lessons and distributed meals, treats, and essential school supplies. Ravin Basnayake, Citi Country Officer, said, "Citi Global Community Day is a cherished tradition where colleagues from around the world come together to uplift our communities. This year, our team in Sri Lanka brought joy to these deserving children at Sri Jinananda Children's Home, creating a truly heartwarming experience."
