The Colombo Tea Auction had on offer this week a total of 6 million kg of tea which was the highest in five months, the Forbes and Walker tea market report stated.
There was weak market sentiment which continued amidst a selection of well-made /good quality teas continuing to realise a premium price.
The amount of unsold volumes remained high this week as well, the report stated.
The market weakened at the lower end as well perhaps in the backdrop of increased availability. (SD)
