Elite customers of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon are set to experience a new paradigm in service and convenience with the launch of a Visa Signature Elite Debit Card exclusively for them.
Coinciding with the revamp of the bank’s Elite Banking Branch at No 7, R. G. Senanayake Mawatha, (Gregory’s Road) Colombo 7, the launch of the Visa Signature Elite Debit Card will see the migration of Commercial Bank’s Gold Debit Card holders to the new top tier of the bank’s Debit Card offering, the bank said in a media release.
The bank said the upgrade would mean that this customer segment would have access to an enriched suite of premium services that will set a new standard in exclusive privileges.
Besides being entitled to priority service across the entire Commercial Bank branch network, the new card would provide cardholders complimentary access to more than 1,000 airport lounges worldwide for unmatched comfort during overseas travel, and complimentary travel insurance. They will also accumulate and Max Rewards Points at the rate of 1 point for every Rs 400 spent, to be able to accumulate rewards points faster.
Commenting on the launch of the new Visa Signature Elite Debit Card, Commercial Bank Managing Director/CEO Sanath Manatunge said: “This will be a premium addition to our Debit Card line-up, designed to cater specifically to the unique needs of our high net worth clients. Individuals with specified total deposit relationships in fixed deposits, savings, treasury bills, or equivalent foreign currency deposits at Commercial Bank are recognised as Elite customers and are accorded special recognition at the bank’s Elite branch as well as at all branches across the country. Customers of the branch network who fulfill the criteria are also awarded Elite Status. The bank said dedicated relationship officers at the Elite Banking Branch will be available to assist the new Visa Signature Elite Debit cardholders to maximise the benefits of this exclusive new card.
