MODART International Paris - Sri Lanka Branch and the International Academy of Fashion (IAF) proudly celebrated their 24th Annual Graduation Ceremony at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on March 4, 2025. This prestigious event marked a significant milestone in the lives of Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree graduates, recognizing their dedication, passion, and perseverance throughout their academic journey.
The ceremony was a joyous occasion where graduates, their families, and faculty members came together to celebrate their achievements. It also provided a moment for students to express gratitude to those who supported them throughout their studies.

The ceremony commenced with inspiring speeches from His Excellency Mr. Rémi Lambert, Ambassador-Designate of France to Sri Lanka, and Ms. Niroshani Leanage, Managing Director of IAF & MODART International Sri Lanka, who congratulated the graduates on their determination, passion, and creativity while wishing them a bright future ahead. It was a moment of sheer joy and pride for parents as they watched the graduates receive their well-earned certifications from His Excellency Mr. Rémi Lambert on stage.
Expressing her thoughts, Ms. Niroshani Leanage encouraged the graduates to seize this remarkable opportunity and become future leaders in the industry, regardless of the path they choose to pursue. She also highlighted why France could be the ideal destination for fashion design graduates to further their higher studies and refine their expertise in the global fashion industry.
Additionally, the Director of Alliance Française de Colombo, Ms. Cécile Hoorelbeke, was a special invitee for the graduation ceremony. Her presence held special significance, as our degree holders have been trained in the French language through Alliance Française de Colombo to qualify for the DELF exams, further equipping them with international competencies for future endeavors.
