HNB PLC was presented with an award commemorating its top rankings among Sri Lanka’s ‘Most Admired Companies’ for the 3rd consecutive year.
HNB said in a media release that it’s ranking was secured based on another year of excellent financial performance as well as its outstanding commitment to delivering value to customers, employees and the nation as a whole.
“The respect of our peers, and of the Sri Lankan public is possibly the greatest validation of our pioneering approach to banking. Over the past year, digital banking has become an integral part of our lives. In 2021, we will continue to fuel this technological transformation, in order to actively drive a vibrant revival of the national economy,” HNB CEO/Managing Director, Jonathan Alles stated.
Organised by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and International Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka (ICCSL), the ranking takes into account the success with which a given corporate creates a higher purpose for its organisation while also seizing on digital opportunities.
