NDB Investment Bank Ltd has announced the appointment of Harshana Jayaweera as its Chief Executive Officer, effective from February 2025.
With a career to date spanning over 25 years, Mr. Jayaweera brings extensive global experience across Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Trade and Structured Finance, Cash Management, Risk and Analytics, Private Banking, Financial Advisory, Capital Markets & Syndications, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Strategy, Regulatory and Compliance and several other industry segments. His professional journey includes leadership roles with prominent financial institutions in Switzerland, the Middle East, and Sri Lanka, the bank said in a media release.
Before joining NDB Investment Bank Ltd, he most recently served as a Director at GRIP (DIFC) Ltd, an investment bank based in the Dubai International Financial Centre while also playing a pivotal role for Alchemy Investments Acquisition Corp 1, a NASDAQ-listed Special Purpose Acquisition Company. Additionally, he was the Chief Business Officer at Acuity Partners Limited in Sri Lanka.
