NDB Bank secures multiple wins at the SLIBFI Awards 2024

NDB in 2024 has seen significant excellence in Islamic banking as it reaches a decade of operating within the Islamic banking space, along with having clinched multiple awards in the recently held SLIBFI (Sri Lankan Islamic banking and finance industry) Awards 2024.

This year stands out from the rest; while having been awarded in the past, this year, NDB Bank—Shareek bagged an impressive 6 awards that signifies its unwavering commitment to innovation, ethical practices, and the dedication of staff towards uplifting the industry, the bank said in a media release.

The 6 accolades consist of 3 unit awards, namely Deal of the Year – Gold, Islamic Finance Window Unit of the Year - Silver, and SDG Client of IB – Silver. Furthermore, Bilal Rafeek and Fahmi Rahim grabbed the Gold and Silver awards for Rising Personality of the Year – Male that were on offer, along with Misna Mizra completing the list with a Merit for Rising Personality of the Year – Female, which signifies a rounded representation of the awards.
