The award ceremony organised by the NCE for the 31st consecutive year was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo on 08 December 2023. In 1999, Royal Cashews was launched with the objective of taking Sri Lankan cashews to the international level. It has currently become a group of companies in partnership with Royal Food Marketing (Pvt) Ltd, Trust Lanka Suppliers (Pvt) Ltd. and Green Way Asia Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. All three companies purchase the harvests of cashew cultivator, turn them into value-added products in their factory, and supply to the local and global markets.
Royal Cashews cashew nut products are exported to several countries such as Canada, China, Malaysia, Japan, USA, Maldives, Switzerland, Britain, New Zealand, Germany, Australia etc. It has the largest cashew sales outlet network in the country with 15 showrooms located in foremost places such as One Galle Face, Shangri - La Hotel Colombo, Crescat - Colombo 03, Marino Mall – Colombo 03, K-Zone – Ja-Ela and Moratuwa, Kandy City Center – Kandy, Colombo City Centre, World Trade Centre – Colombo, Welipenna Service Area – Southern Expressway, Nugegoda, Galle, Borella and, is able to supply hygienically processed cashew products to their local and foreign customers.
