A medical camp organized jointly by the Association of Sri Lankan Graduates from Socialist Countries (ASLGSC), together with the Gothatuwa Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Office and the Project Management Institute (PMI), will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 starting from 9.00 a.m., at the Galwana Viharaya, Mulleriyawa to support communities affected by the recent floods caused by the DITWA cyclone. The medical camp will be conducted free of charge by experienced medical professionals who are graduates from Russia. A dental clinic and an eye clinic will also be held.
In addition, medical examinations including blood sugar tests and blood cholesterol tests will be carried out, and medical consultations will be provided to the public. The event will be attended by Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, and Dr. Kumara Wickremasinghe, Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, adding further significance to the programme.
