Seylan Bank has announced a partnership with Allianz Lanka offering a host of benefits on motor insurance premium payments. Seylan Credit Cardholders will be able to avail a flat discount of 18% on insurance premiums payments for cars, and up to 20% savings on insurance premium payments for all other vehicles at Allianz Lanka. They can also convert these transactions into 12-month instalment plans at 0% interest, the bank said in a media release.
These exclusive discounted premiums are offered to Seylan credit cardholders purchasing new motor insurance policies from Allianz Lanka. Seylan Credit Card transactions above Rs. 15,000 at Allianz Motor Insurance are eligible to be converted into 0% instalment plans until the end of August 2021 through this scheme, with a maximum transaction value of Rs. 500,000 per annum.
“This partnership will enable customers to receive a host of value-added services through one of the leading motor insurance providers in the country. Particularly given the flat rate on their discounted premiums, the exclusive partnership will deliver unique value to our cardholders,” said Ramesh Jayasekara, Chief Operating Officer, Seylan Bank PLC.
“Due to the prevailing global health and economic crisis, consumers are being very mindful about their spending. We believe our partnership with Seylan Bank will enable us to support them during these trying times,” said Gany Subramaniam, Chief Executive Officer, Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited.
