On 31st October, The Body Shop store at the Colombo City Centre celebrated World Vegan Day, highlighting their commitment to advocating beauty products that are both efficacious and socially responsible.
Guest of honour at the event, entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Veganator Sri Lanka, Tashie Roberts spoke of the brand’s journey and the role of independent changemakers in shaping a systemic change.
The "Changemaking Beauty" campaign by The Body Shop is not just a catchy slogan, a press release from The Body Shop states, adding that their commitment to vegan and cruelty-free products is a part of their DNA. “The result is an all-natural, vegan, plant-based skincare range with certified, sustainably sourced botanical ingredients designed to be equally kind to the skin and the planet.”
With its new range of products, the brand is pushing boundaries further and inviting customers to be part of a global movement for positive change, the release adds.
The Body Shop’s stores are at Bagatalle Road, Odel at Alexandra Place, the Kandy City Centre, and the Colombo City Centre.
