Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited (Allianz Lanka) was recognized as one of the nation’s foremost employer brands at the Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards 2020. Allianz Lanka’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mangala Bandara and Human Resources Business Partner, Shanaka Weerasekera, accepted the award on behalf of the insurer at the virtual awards ceremony held recently, the company said in a media release.
Hosted by the World HRD Congress, the Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Awards seek to recognize organisations from across the country that have been effective in attracting, retaining, and developing talent through strategic HR and marketing communications efforts. The winners were picked by a panel chaired by Dr. Indira Parikh, former Dean of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, India’s premier management school.
