The Bank of Ceylon, with the intention of facilitating newly appointed doctors to upgrade their soft skills required to deliver a quality service, recently sponsored the ‘Good Intern Programme organised by the Government Medical Officer’s Association (GMOA).
Being a state bank that assists the cause of developing the country’s social and economic well being, the Bank of Ceylon has been sponsoring this programme on several occasions. This year it was the 8th consecutive year of the “Good Intern Programme jointly organized with Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation. The inauguration ceremony of this year’s ceremony was held at the Nagananda International Institute and was graced by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the Chief Guest.
