Sri Lanka’s stock market was slightly up at close on Wednesday in a 3-day short week which has two national holidays falling on Tuesday and Thursday. The Colombo bourse is closed on both days.
Analysts said a relatively moderate day was seen today with turnover at Rs. 594 million.
The main All Share Price Index was up by 0.04 per cent or 2.29 points to stand at 5,950.19 with the liquid S&P up by 0.01 per cent or 0.45 points to stand at 3,114.51.
Foreigners have sold shares amounting to Rs.8 billion since the country’s political crisis started on October 26. (DEC)
