Sri Lanka's Commercial Bank and its subsidiaries have reported a near 30 per cent rise in gross income to Rs. 56 billion for the 6-months ending June 2017, according to the accounts released to the Colombo Stock Exchange on Monday.
In terms of other results, the bank said its post-tax profit rose by 17.4 per cent to Rs.7.6 billion compared to the same 2016 period. Interest income was reported at Rs.49.4 billion, up by 31 per cent from the same period last year. - ENDS -
