Dammika Perera buys into Nawaloka Hospitals

 

Dhammika Perera, Sri Lanka biggest entrepreneur/businessman has forayed into healthcare buying into Nawaloka Hospitals (NHL), market sources said on Thursday.

Some  305.9 million shares traded in three crossings at Rs 4 on Thursday early noon.

The NSB held 17.7894 million NHL shares as at last September and top market investor, Dr. S Senthilverl held 309.5 million NHL shares or nearly 22%.

Sources added that Dr. Senthiverl has sold some of his shares today. NHL has 1.4 billion shares in issue as at last September.
