Mobitel has won three awards at the inaugural ‘Games Experience’ award held by OpenSignal, the independent global platform for analyzing consumer mobile experience. Further strengthening the positioning of Mobitel’s superior network experience and its 4G availability, Mobitel outshone competition by winning three awards outright, namely, the Games Experience, Voice App Experience and Download Speed Experience, while becoming the joint winner for Video Experience and 4G Availability categories.
“These triumphs by Mobitel underlines its dominance in providing superior network and broadband experience to customers across all categories. As the National Mobile Service Provider, Mobitel is committed to enhancing the streaming, video and gaming experience by innovating and investing in network infrastructure facilities,” the company said in a media release.
Mobitel was also recognised with the Speed Test Award by Ookla for having the fastest mobile broadband connection in Sri Lanka for 2018 and 2019 consecutively.
