The Steuart by Citrus, the latest addition to Colombo City’s tourism offering, will be declared open on Friday, June 26 by President Maithripala Sirisena, the company said on Sunday. The Steuart, owned by the George Steuart Group which is chaired by businessman and high networth stock market investor Dilith Jayaweera, will be managed by the group's Citrus Leisure subsidiary Citrus Silver. Located at the very heart of Colombo, The Steuart will operate as a boutique business hotel offering the convenience of its prime location coupled with true Sri Lankan hospitality and traditional Scottish charm. The property adds 50 rooms to Sri Lanka's graded inventory and is a reflection of the company’s commitment to the tourism vision of the country, the company statement added.
