The Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) has congratulated Thilak Weerasinghe on his appointment to the Board of Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd and Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
SLAITO said in a media release that Mr. Weerasinghe as a respected member and a Vice President of SLAITO brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in tourism to the table.
Mr. Weerasinghe has also represented SLAITO on the Board of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and the Tourism Strategic Committee from 2015 to 2019. The Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) as the apex body in Tourism is the representation of reputed inbound tour operators of Sri Lanka.
“SLAITO has so far been, the most influential and guiding institution for the policy makers in Sri Lanka to overcome challenges faced and to place Sri Lanka in the world’s travel map while representing its members. SLAITO plays a vital role in all significant private sector decision-making forums and is affiliated to The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce,” it said. (SD)
