The President and Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operations (SLAITO) has extended its congratulations and best wishes to the seventh Executive President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Gotabaya Rajapaksa on being elected as the new president.
SLAITO President Mahen Kariyawasan said that he would like to take this opportunity to congratulate President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on his assignment as President of Sri Lanka and offered to him, his most sincere wishes for a successful term as President, on behalf of the SLAITO.
Recognised as the apex body for inbound tourism, SLAITO believes that the new president will maintain peace and stability in the country, and boost the tourism industry once again.
“SLAITO looks forward to a successful, prosperous, and peaceful tenure under President Rajapakse, and believes that the President will perform the variety of duties entrusted to him, with great responsibility and commitment to advance the common objective of building a united and prosperous country,” the message said.
