National telecom services provider, Sri Lanka Telecom lit up the skies with its Christmas tree, in celebration of the spirit of Christmas. The iconic landmark in Colombo was illuminated on December 22, with SLT Group Chairman Rohan Fernando, accompanied by senior SLT officials, switching on the tree and decorations at the SLT head office, as part of the company’s continuous efforts in spreading joy and good cheer to the entire nation during these difficult times.
SLT has played a vital role in keeping Sri Lankans connected with their loved ones throughout the year, and uplifting them through numerous contributions to the health, education and government sectors and supporting the general public through the donation of dry rations during lock down helping people meet their essential needs.
