The examinations will take place in Colombo and Galle under the guidance and supervision of examiner Mrs. Oxana Karnovich starting from Monday through Sunday (October 23 - 29)
Students from all over Sri Lanka will attend the examinations from primary to Grade 10.
Participants will be graded and awarded certificates and medals for the performances.
Mrs. Maria Popova - Director of The Russian Centre and 1st Secretary of The Russian Embassy in Colombo has guided the teachers and announced the ballet enthusiasts in Sri Lanka, that Russia will continue to provide teachers, examiners and excellent teaching methods to students throughout.
Students for the examinations from the Russian School of Ballet and Dancing at The Russian Centre in Colombo will be presented by Mr. Buddhapriya Ramanayaka - CEO of The Russian Centre, Mrs. Chandi Aluvihare - Cultural Officer, teaches - Mrs. Galina Pleshakova - Founder Instructor - Mrs. Samantha Samararathna, Mrs. Niluka Madurawela, Mrs. Radeesha Bodiyabadu, Mrs. Shenaalie Dias, Mrs. Kavishka Premathilake, Ms. Vichara Udawatte, Ms. Nisuri Edirisinghe, and Ms. Vihini Samarasekera.

The Colombo High Court today (28) sentenced former parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra to three years of Rigorous Imprisonment over charges of the involvement of an abduction.
In his special statement, President Ranil Wickremesinghe announced that debt restructuring agreements will postpone all bilateral loan payments to foreign countries until 2028. Additionally, Sri Lanka will have until 2043 to repay these loans on concessional terms.
