Artist Fabienne Francotte’s new exhibition at the Saskia Fernando Gallery is titled ‘My Makeup is Wrong’. ‘My Makeup is Wrong’ traverses through the stages of grief, as the artist probes and contemplates how we, as a society, speak about the invisible wounds and hidden traumas that have shaped us. The exhibition continues until December 17.
The De Lanerolle Brothers will usher in the season with ‘Can’t Wait for Christmas’ a gala dinner show on December 26 at 7 p.m. at the Colombo Hilton The Brothers will perform a selection of Christmas favourites with Metho Cantanti and the Old Joes Choir.
Veteran artist Geetha Senewiratne will hold her 12th exhibition, “Art Odyssey,” at the Siam Nivasa from November 25 – December 8, from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Geetha will be exhibiting some 60 paintings, line drawings, and her award winning sculpture.
The Suwa Diviya ‘Live Well Health Fair’ will be held on Saturday, November 30, at the Arcade Independence Square, Colombo 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 pm. The event primarily targets the public, including children, the youth, and senior citizens alike, to raise awareness of the crucial need to lead a healthy lifestyle void of non- communicable diseases.

Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte passed away today while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo, his family said. He was 57. Recently, he was admitted to hospital following an illness.
