Millennium Art Contemporary (MiAC) will present an insightful Gallery Walk and Panel Discussion with acclaimed Sri Lankan artist Prof. Chandragupta Thenuwara on 16th August 2025 at 4:00 PM, as part of his latest exhibition, “The Story of a Barrel.”
The event invites art enthusiasts, students, and the general public to join Prof. Thenuwara in exploring the creative process and layered meanings behind his work. Known for transforming everyday objects into potent symbols, the artist has used the barrel motif in various forms to reflect on political, social, and historical realities in Sri Lanka.
The exhibition opened on 5th August 2025 and will continue until 30th August 2025, welcoming visitors from Tuesday to Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. The gallery remains closed on public holidays.
