Amaya Hills, Kandy recently organizing a Christmas Pool party on December 10. The event line- up for the day commenced at 10am with the staff of Amaya Hills hotel singing all- time Christmas favorites.
Kids splashed in excitement while Santa swayed and jived to lively music. Kids of all ages were seen participating eagerly in games such as water balloon passing. Mothers who accompanied their kids were not left to their own devices, there was an art competition for them. Many of them took part while the on-lookers cheered them on.
The kids were delighted with distribution of free ice cream and drinks. A lavish lunch buffet with an array of Sri Lankan and Western delicacies were served to kids and parents to enjoy before they headed to enjoy the rest of the day at Amaya Hills, Kandy.

The Supreme Court today refused interim relief in an application filed by President’s Counsel Senaka Walgampaya seeking an Order from the Supreme Court compelling the President to appoint judges to fill the existing vacancies in the Court Of Appeal.
The deadline for online applications to the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination has been extended until July 12, the Department of Examinations said.
