Dr. Manella Joseph is back after three years and will be performing her latest concert at the British School Auditorium on May 7, at 7 p.m. The entire show will be comprised of her own compositions with a variety of songs in Sinhala and English, including an unusual rendition of “Help” by the Beatles which she has translated into Sinhala for the occasion. Her aim is to amalgamate oriental and western sounds putting a touch of Sri Lankan flavour into her songs.
As usual, all proceeds from her concert will go to charity and her chosen cause is The Crippled Children’s Association for Sri Lanka. Tickets will be priced between Rs. 500 and 1500.
To reserve your tickets, contact Dr. Manella on 0777188028. With her passion for music and performance, her concert is not to be missed.
