The 29th International Gem and Jewellery Show, FACETS Sri Lanka got underway at the BMICH today and will continue till Sept 1.
Hundred of local and foreign exhibitors showcasing their gem and jewellery products and a large number of influential trade visitors from around the world are expected to attend.

Energy Ministry differs on proposed electricity tariff reduction from today.
The Energy Ministry has decided to go ahead with the PUCSL recommendation of reducing the electricity tariff by an average of 20 per cent, Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody said today.
