The construction of the World's tallest artificial Christmas tree at Galle Face despite delays was ceremonially unveiled this evening over the weekend.

The 57-meter high tree at Galle Face Green along with a six-meter Santa and a 12-metre sleigh was lit with 600,000 colored LED bulbs, according to organizers.
