The first ever Sri Lanka, International, tattoo convention, will take place during the weekend (17) and (18) at the BMICH, Colombo, starting at 10.00 am to 10.00pm.
The convention’s first edition on Saturday, will showcase, some of Sri Lanka’s finest skin artists and tattoo product suppliers. It was also feature workshops on skin, needle and tool hygiene, piercings and other body art styles.
Young and upcoming artists will be afforded an opportunity to work with experienced artists, share information and develop their skills.
Earlier on the 24th of November 2016, Sri Lanka's talented tattoo artists joined together, to brainstorm with Questival & SL Tattoo Paradise, the producers of the first ever Sri Lanka International Tattoo Convention (SLITC) & SL Tattoo Tribe - Unification & Support Operation.
Those coming for the convention, will be able to get tatted up from the 25 plus, artists at the venue. Participants, will be given an opportunity to view the artist’s work and decide on a tattoo.
The event will also include face painters, sketch artists and temporary tattoo art, as well as niche products by selected, skilled artisans of the growing Hippie Market Sub-Culture.
Tickets will be priced at 1000 rupees per day. The first 50 tickets purchased, will include a free pass for Sunday as well.
