The Lanka Alzheimer’s Foundation annual ‘Scrabble Bash’ will be held on Saturday February 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Mrs. Shaila Amalean will be the facilitator of this event.
Scrabble is one of the many games promoted to stimulate brain activity. Consequently the Lanka Alzheimer’s Foundation introduced the ‘Scrabble Bash’ seven years ago in 2009.
The Foundation is now requesting firms or individuals to come forward to participate or sponsor a team (of 4) at Rs. 10,000 or extend individual sponsorship of Rs. 2,500. Funds raised will be utilised to offset the operating costs of the Centre.
Interested readers can call the Foundation for any inquiries or to register themselves.
