OnlineKade.lk, a convenience store situated in the heart of Colombo expanded to a different dimension on August 14 with ‘OnlineKade Express - Ape Kade’ which offers local/homegrown brands under one roof.
Identifying the consumer need for 24/7 convenience shopping, which includes access to online shopping, OnlineKade.lk was launched to the public in September 2018 as a store that offered international brands; from confectionery, kitchen/baking essentials to baby products and party products,
“We at OnlineKade believe in supporting and uplifting small and upcoming businesses, which is why we’ve come up with a platform called ‘Live Love Local’ where small businesses / Instagram vendors / home bakers can retail with us and we give them all the exposure they need with the vast clientele we have!”, said Managing Director, Rahil Atheeq of their latest venture,
“Secondly and most importantly, all proceeds from this project will go towards charity organisations supporting meaningful causes. If you think your talent needs a voice - get in touch with us we will be thrilled to have you on board,” he added.
Currently, ‘OnlineKade Express - Ape Kade' has 40 local brands in store. Rancrisp, Munchee, Maliban, Kist, Uswatta, Elephant House and Bairaha are a few among them.
