Renowned Director and Producer Vinodh Senadeera has passed away today.
A familiar name in the local English theater scene Mr. Senadeera’s love for the creative arts and English language was encapsulated in a seasoned and illustrious career as a teacher, director and producer of countless dramatic and musical productions.
He passed away after suffering from a heart attack earlier today after being admitted to hospital reveal close friends of Mr. Senadeera.
His varied artistic work not only captured the public stage but influenced and motivated countless young thespians during his career as a teacher at S Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia and the Colombo International School. His remains will be brought to S. Thomas' College on Friday at 3pm with a service to follow at the College chapel on Saturday.
