The National Tsunami Early Warning Center declared today that there is no Tsunami threat to Sri Lanka at present with the effect of the earthquake (6.6M) reported in Indonesia today.
Therefore, the Center stressed that the coastal areas of Sri Lanka are declared safe informing the public that the message is announced in consultation with relevant national and international agencies.
