The All Island Nurses Union took to the streets yesterday to protest over an overdue and salary payments, local media reported.
The protest was staged opposite the Kandy General Hospital.
The protestors also called for the prompt amendment of the Nurses Constitution - a request that has fallen to deaf ears for the past three years.
