Legal experts have already advised that the President provincial poll could be held before the presidential, a top official closed to the president said. Provincial elections have been delayed due to the absence of a delimitation report which demarcates electorates for the polls.
President Sirisena has been made to understand by his close advisers that holding provincial poll result will provide a clear indication of the outcome of the presidential election.
