Ten suspects attached to the 'Aava' criminal group have been remanded until July 1 for vandalising some houses in Jaffna recently.
Jaffna Magistrate A.S. Peter Paul issued the remand order yesterday (Jun 18).
The suspects were arrested for vandalising some houses in Manipay, Kokkuvil and Chunnakam areas and for attacking the Kokkuvil Assistant Railway Superintendent on June 12.
Special Task Force (STF) personnel had arrested the suspects at a residence in Kokkuvil yesterday.
