13-year-old missing after falling into river while taking selfies
A 13-year-old child has been reported missing after falling into the Jayaganga River in Ipalogama last evening (7).
The victim had climbed a tree on the river bank and had been taking selfies when he had fallen from the tree into the river, police said.
Police lifeguards and area residents have launched a search operation to locate the victim but no trace of him has been found so far.
