14-hour water cut in Kolonnawa and surrounding areas
A 14-hour water cut will be in effect from 8 pm today (Jul 25) until 10 am tomorrow in Kolonnawa and several surrounding areas, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
According to the NWSDB, water supply would be cut-off to the following areas due to a sudden breakdown in the main transmission line to Kolonnawa.
The areas are as follows :
- Kolonnawa Municipal Council areas
- Rajagiriya
- Moragasmulla
- Ethulkotte
- Obesekerapura
- Bandaranayakepura
- Nawala
- Koswaththa
- Main road and all connected by roads from Rajagiriya up to Nawala Open University
