A total number of 2,456 Chinese nationals working or residing in Sri Lanka received their first jabs of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine respectively in Colombo, Hambantota, Kandy and Puttalam by yesterday, the Chinese embassy in Colombo said.
The vaccination rolls out smoothly and safely, with no adverse effect reported so far. The second shots are scheduled in three weeks’ time, the embassy said.
