2,945 COVID-19 cases reported today
With 691 more COVID-19 cases reported today, the daily total number of infected persons increased to 2,945, the Health Ministry said.
As of now 34, 247 active patients are being treated in COVID-19 treatment facilities across the country while another 31, 457 persons are currently under investigations in government hospitals.
The total number of infected persons in the country is 161,242. 1178 COCID-19 related deaths reported as of today.
Meanwhile, the Director General of Health Services instructed that all COVID-19 patients brought to a hospital must be admitted by the hospital within 15 - 30 minutes of arrival.
