More than 40 delegates representated by 20 countries will attend this year's Colombo Air Symposium on October 24 and 25, the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) said.
These countries include India, China, Pakistan, UK and the US, Air Force Commander Air Marshal Sumangala Dias told a news conference today (Oct 22).
The conference organised by SLAF will be held under the theme "A Small Air Force: Way Forward in Acheiving Future Vision" at the Eagle's Lakeside Banquet and Conventional Hall in Attidiya.
The Air Force Chief explained that the objective of the event is to address the future of small Air Force units in addressing challenges which require "wider understanding" and "stronger collaborations".
Intellectuals, diplomats, military leaders, policy makers, and technological experts are expected to attend the event.
