25 youths nabbed with narcotics at Facebook party
A group of 25 youths have been arrested over the possession of heroin during a party organised through Facebook in Thembiliyana, Avissawella yesterday (Oct 12).
Narcotics including 1.3 grams of heroin, 0.5 grams of 'Ice', and 10.1 grams of cannabis had been recovered at the time of the arrest.
Police said the group which included 21 males and four females, have been identified as residents of Embilipitiya, Dehiowita, Kosgoda, Colombo, Galle, and Matara.
The suspects are due to be produced before court today.
