274 deaths, 51,329 positive cases from COVID second wave
A 53-year-old female from Mallawagedara, Gampaha district died from acute diabetes and complications due to COVID-19 on Wednesday (20) bringing the total death toll from the virus to 274, the Government Information Department said.
Meanwhile 768 COVID positive cases were reported on Wednesday increasing the total number from the Divulapitiya, Peliyagoda clusters to 51,329.
