About 33,000 kilograms of dried turmeric stored inside three container trucks at a warehouse in Bloemendhal was seized by police today.
Ten persons have been arrested in connection with the smuggled turmeric, the police said.
According to Bloemendhal Police, the importer has smuggled turmeric by misleading customs as importing glass from Dubai under false declaration.
