A 40-year old was arrested over the possession of nine explosives and live ammunition at his residence in Beruwala today (Dec 09).
The suspect was initially nabbed with two bullets by the Police in Badureliya following which it was revealed that a stock of ammunition was available at his residence.
Accordingly, the police confiscated the stock of ammunition including one mini-Uzi submachine gun, six Gauge 12 Shotguns, one 2.5mm weapon and also 20 mg of heroin while also taking into possession weapons such as knives.
