A total of 407 complaints have been recorded regarding Facebook during the first two months of this year, Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) Engineer Ravidu Meegasmulla said.
The complaints have centered around cases of hacking, and creating multiple fake accounts, Mr. Meegasmulla noted.
He observed that 2,505 complaints regarding Facebook were received last year alone.
On the same lines he added that measures have been taken to suspend these accounts which have been involved in suspicious activities.
