A 46-year old individual was arrested at 03 pm in Piliyandala yesterday (Dec 11) over the possession of more 2495 counterfeit currency notes and two mobile phones.
The suspect who has been identified as a resident of Kolamunna, was arrested by the Piliyandala police following a tip-off.
He will be produced before the Kesbewa Magistrates court today (Dec 12).
